Create Stunning RPG Games with RPG Essential Kit - Free Download

The Basic Rules runs from levels 1 to 20 and covers the cleric, fighter, rogue, and wizard, presenting what we view as the essential subclass for each. It also provides the dwarf, elf, halfling, and human as race options; in addition, the rules contain 120 spells, 5 backgrounds, and character sheets. But the best part? The Basic Rules is a free PDF. Anyone can download it from our website. We want to put D&D in as many hands as possible, and a free, digital file is the best way to do that.

Creating a fangame using Essentials is simply a matter of buying RPG Maker XP, downloading a copy of Essentials and then modifying it further to include the content you want (e.g. maps, characters). Unfortunately, this wiki cannot provide any download links.

This wiki cannot provide download links. It has previously been deleted for doing so, due to the download containing graphics and audio from official Pokémon games (despite them being readily available online).

Pokémon Essentials was/is created with the sole intent of being absolutely free to use. This means that developers do not have to "buy" Essentials in order to use it, nor should anyone have to pay money to access or play any game created with Essentials (not even to purchase "perks" or other premium content in an otherwise free-to-play game, and not even to pay for server costs or maintenance or subscriptions, etc.). Optional payments (e.g. "donate to the developers") also fall into this category, as they would still be a source of income even if they were voluntary. Monetised Internet links, such as those provided by url shorteners, are also not allowed. To earn money in any way from a game made with Essentials is unacceptable.

If you are creating your own game by yourself (i.e. not using Essentials) and you wish to include some part of Essentials in your game (e.g. a particular mini-game), then you should ask the creator of the wanted feature/asset for permission. They may consent, they may not, they may want to be paid for it - it's up to that creator. The fact that the feature/asset is distributed in the free Pokémon Essentials is NOT permission to use it however you like.

If you make a Pokémon fangame, legal action can be taken against you if it gets noticed by Nintendo's lawyers. This action will generally not escalate beyond them issuing a takedown notice (removing a download/website/forum associated with your game) or a Cease & Desist notice (forcing you to stop working on/associating with your game). Developers affected by these actions in the past have always complied, as they cannot justify their game's existence (and couldn't face off against Nintendo's lawyers if they tried).

An extended version of the stats tracker in the Essentials kit. As well as tracking the essential stats it also includes areas for hit points, wealth, abilities with modifiers, carrying capacity, size and speed. It also has more room for resistances, advantages and notes. Each page has room for 4 slots and can be used for both players and NPCs/enemies.

Not every spell is concise, and these spell cards fit 2 to a page to give the maximum amount of space for spell descriptions that get a bit lengthy! All essential spell information is also included on the cards.

Of course, that doesn't mean the task is easy, even with free software to hand. A simple game like Flappy Bird requires significant effort if you want it to look and feel good. But thanks to these free tools for game development, game creation has become fairly streamlined.

The free version has all the core features but is limited to 25 events, two object layers, two simultaneous special effects, one web font, no multiplayer functionality, can only export to HTML5, and doesn't include permission to sell your games.

This boxed set came with a code that lets you access the adventure in this kit - Dragon of Icespire Peak by Chris Perkins - on D&D Beyond for free. I haven't really looked at D&D Beyond much, but I did while working on this article and man do I have a lot to say. I'll do an article on D&D Beyond soon. It's extremely useful! It made reading the adventure so much easier for me.

This location has an interesting backstory - the jellies are actually followers of a god of greed. The god became angry with its dwarven followers and turned them into jellies.(lvl 1) Gnomengard: This is a somewhat deluxe location. There's quite a bit going on, here. I don't want to spoil it, but someone or something is causing gnomes to disappear. One of the kings has gone mad, and the place is a wild magic zone. I really like this place.(lvl 1-3) Umbrage Hill: A manticore is attacking this windmill which is home to a woman who can sell the group potions of healing. Very short and sweet, which is how I like it.(lvl 3) Tower of Storms: The group finds this place through rumors. This location is a lighthouse/temple devoted to an evil god of storms. There are a number of monsters here, including harpies and a friendly talking crab. There are shipwrecks in the water that have some good loot. The gimmick here is really cool - the bad guy's heart is linked to the light house.(lvl 3) Butterskull Ranch: I love the name of this place. Sounds delicious!Orcs have overtaken this place and tied up Big Al, the owner. This is essentially one encounter, as all the orcs are in one spot.(lvl 3) Loggers' Camp: This one involves a D&D monster that doesn't get used much - the ankheg. The monsters are plaguing a logging camp.(lvl 4) Mountain's Toe Gold Mine: A big mine complex with some wererats in it. (lvl 5) Axeholm: A nearly empty dwarven fortress that is now home to ghouls. The map is huge and there is very little actually inside the dungeon. (lvl 5) Dragon Barrow: The adventurers come here to retrieve a dragon slayer longsword once wielded by Lady Alagondar. This is a small tomb with some traps, a very cool skeletal horse, and the sword is resting one the skull of a huge dragon. I love this place.(lvls 5-6) Woodland Manse: Agents of the god of storms have taken over this place. They've even grown a gulthias tree, like in the Sunless Citadel. Lots of loot in this place! I like that. I hate when adventures are stingy with treasure. At the end of this scenario, we are told that on the following day, the bad guys will attack Falcon's lodge with 20 orcs and Gorthok the Thunder Boar. Yikes.

Landmines in these areas usually require only 6 kg of pressure to be triggered, ensuring that even a child or animal can cause an explosion. For the significant proportion of adults and children who survive the initial blast, rapid access to care is crucial. Beyond initial stabilization, higher-level care is essential, as many survivors require critical actions, including amputation.

About 40 new health workers per year have received trauma training since 2000 in essential trauma-management skills. About 10 specific health workers have attended all or most workshops during this same period. The majority of the trauma course students are from Karen State. Health workers from Mon, Karenni and Shan State have also participated. Real-time course observations and feedback by trauma course faculty to health worker students have been the main measure of student comprehension of course content.
