Restore Your Core™ is a comprehensive exercise program created for women who have core and pelvic floor dysfunction. Issues like:

  • A weak core or a gap in the core wall (diastasis recti)

  • Leaking urine when running, sneezing, jumping, coughing

  • Constant back pain

  • A bulging sensation in the pelvic floor

  • Hip discomfort
  • Pelvic organ prolapse

 

Over half of all women will experience one or more of these issues in their lifetime. That is huge! Often these issues are brushed off as “normal” for having had a baby, however they are anything but normal and cause major quality of life issues. In fact many women who have never been pregnant have these issues.

Specialist training

Restore Your Core™ takes a unique approach to core wellness, aiming to empower and educate women for the long term by teaching them how move efficiently and exercise optimally.

 

The program combines sustainable and functional yoga and Pilates-based exercises with the fundamentals of biomechanics. My RYC® classes will help women build core function and wellness beyond the mat, from learning how their breath can affect their core to learning how to move more optimally in day to day life as well as other exercise modalities. 

 

With its unique tools, terminology and cues, this exercise program teaches principles of core engagement and strengthening in a way that is accessible, unambiguous and clear. It takes a function over fit approach and encourages women to return to the activities they love once they feel ready and confident. It offers long term solutions over quick-fix, band-aid ones.

As a trained RYC® Teacher (and trainee modern postural yoga teacher)  I will help you decode your body's issues and become more mindful about your movement.

Restore Your Core® helps you learn to move better, exercise better, uncover movement compensation patterns and create new patterns of strength, mobility, length and support.

Restore Your Core classes

These blocks of classes provide a great way to follow along to Lynn as she teaches you techniques that will nourish your body. These blocks are done in stages, one for those just starting RYC™ , then more progressive classes for those that have completed the first block. In the current environment these are conducted via Zoom with opportunity for some Q&A at the end of each class + optional homework that include helpful video clips from Lynn for those that want to practice between sessions. One-to-One Consultations

If you have specific issues, or find yourself avoiding activities you used to love, or are experiencing pain, a one-to-one consultation is for you. Lynn offers help with back, hip, foot or shoulder pain, core and pelvic floor issues, helping both male and female clients.

 

You will work with Lynn on decoding your problems, identify blind spots and your own body’s compensation patterns. You will explore personalised techniques to help you repattern mind-body connections and strengthen your body.

 

Consultations last an hour. Each consultation is £50. You can also expect to receive some helpful takeaways (which Lynn likes to call 'homework') in the form of mini-videos.

Ad-hoc workshops

Have a look at the classes page to see any one off workshops planned. Or sign up using the contact form below and you will be notified of special one-off classes that are being run to target specific areas of tightness/ discomfort in your body for example S.I. joint pain, Hip mobility, shoulder pain, and tight hamstrings. These are mindful movement sessions where you will benefit from Lynn's extensive training and experience to relieve tension in your body.
